How Does DHI Hair Transplant Work?

Direct Hair Implantation is the method that uses a pen-shaped surgical tool called implanter pen. Each harvested follicular unit is gently inserted into the hollow needle of the device. In most of the clinics, two or three assistants prepare the follicles while an expert performs the implantation. In this way, the time of extra exposure of the grafts to the air is reduced.

When the graft is placed inside the implanter, the expert inserts the needle into the recipient area at the desired angle and depth.
